Promotion: Dezeen has teamed up with online retailer Made.com to put together a Christmas gift guide, including rich wool rugs, coloured glasses and hand-painted jugs.
British online furniture and homewares platform Made.com offers a range of products to allow its audience to curate “unique, quality design” within their homes.
This festive season, the retailer is selling a selection of own-brand soft furnishings, glassware and accessories as interior design-focussed gift ideas.
Among the offering is Alonzo, a tufted wool rug characterised by colourful abstract shapes. This is available alongside an assortment of other rugs catering to a variety of different tastes.
These include Dala, made from shaggy, neutral-hued Berber wool, and Lennon, a woven jute rug defined by a gridded pattern.
Made.com’s collection of soft furnishings also incorporates throws and cushions such as Kyla, a multicoloured brushed throw framed with wispy tassels, and Petra, a boxy velvet cushion.
Velma is a tall wine glass made of crystal, which can be paired with a set of similar geometric tumblers. Made.com has also designed Juno – a series of heavyweight tumblers and chunky wine glasses created in a mixture of ombre blue and orange hues.
A range of homeware accessories is also available. The Alaina jug and Kian vase are two hand-painted designs that feature in the collection, both finished in painterly monochrome patterns.
Two sculptural vases are also in its current collection: the Malia, a hand-painted vase with a square on a square, and the Chaya, also hand-painted in two tone and combining curves with an elongated neck.
A selection of organically shaped vases also features, such as Rhea, designed in subtle coloured glass.
As well as its own collections, Made.com is selling gift ideas from other brands, including a flip clock by Dutch label Karlsson characterised by an “eye-catching retro design” and a squat and spherical yellow vase by British designer Jasper Conran.
