Dezeen Awards wins trio of accolades

Dezeen has won a pair of Professional Publishers Association trophies for its annual awards programme and partnership with Bentley, as well as being honoured at the Conference and Events Awards.

Dezeen Awards was named event of the year at the annual Professional Publishers Association (PPA) awards earlier this month, while our partnership with Bentley – of which headline sponsorship of Dezeen Awards is the core component – was named commercial partnership of the year.

The judges described the event as “oozing creativity”, while the partnership with car brand Bentley was branded as “a truly unique and exciting partnership showing both scale and value”.

“The judges admired this entry’s ability to deliver more with less, while still ensuring quality,” the PPA said.

Dezeen Awards 2023 received over 4,800 entries from over 90 countries, with the winners honoured at a spectacular ceremony in London attended by over 400 guests. The event featured a circular approach to the production design, with most of the set design going back into the supply chain to minimise waste from a one-off event.

With Bentley coming on board as headline sponsor, Dezeen Awards was a central part of a wider partnership with the car brand to champion pioneering design. The partnership also included the launch of Dezeen Awards China, as well as a series of talks and the Future Luxury Retail Design Competition.

Following the two PPA Awards wins, Dezeen Awards was also recognised at the annual Conference and Events Awards.

At the ceremony earlier this month, Dezeen Awards won silver in the category celebrating the best development of an existing awards programme.
