I’m so excited to share a free template for one of my favorite crafts – a paper rose template! If you’re looking for a great idea for Valentine’s Day, the perfect Mother’s Day gift, home decor, or simply looking for a creative outlet, these beautiful paper roses are perfect for every occasion.
Rose Template for Crafts or Coloring
All you need is our free pattern that includes rose petals and leaves, some craft materials such as a hot glue gun, crepe paper, sharp scissors, and a little patience to make a DIY paper rose!

Paper Rose Petals Template
Our first paper rose printable includes the rose flower petals. Use a quilling tool or Cricut machine to cut strips of paper and create layers around the edges of the petals. Experiment with different colors of paper!
Paper Rose Leaves Template
Our second paper rose printable includes the rose leaves. Print on green paper or black-and-white, and let kids let their creative side out coloring the leaves with crayons, markers, watercolors, etc. Attach leaves at the bottom of the rose stem using a piece of floral wire if you want it to look a little bit more like real life.
Note: If you want to add a touch of color, make paper roses using colored paper! Blue, pink, orange – pick any color you want!
